Grocery Truckload – Wholesale Shelf-Stable Food, Snacks & Beverages
Salvage grocery stores depend on a steady flow of discounted food, and a Grocery Truckload is the most efficient way to supply one. This load combines shelf-stable pantry items, snacks, beverages and household consumables, usually short-dated or closeout stock. Buying a full trailer spreads freight across every case, bringing down the cost per unit so you can pass real savings to your shoppers.
What a Typical Load Includes
- Shelf-stable pantry goods: canned foods, pasta, cereal and baking items
- Snacks: chips, crackers, cookies and candy
- Beverages: soft drinks, energy drinks, water and juice
- Household consumables such as paper goods and cleaning basics
- Short-dated and closeout products – best-by dates vary
Who Buys This Truckload
Salvage food loads go to salvage and discount grocers, dollar and variety stores, convenience store operators, flea market vendors, food banks and community pantries, and exporters. Bin stores and online sellers also use snack and beverage loads to draw repeat foot traffic.
Condition, Manifests & Load Details
Condition varies by load. Products are typically short-dated, closeout or overstock, and some cases may have damaged outer packaging. Best-by dates vary, so check dates on arrival and follow your local rules for selling food past its best-by date. A standard 53-foot trailer typically holds 22–26 pallets, and heavy beverage loads may carry fewer pallets because of weight limits; unit counts vary by load. Loads list category, approximate unit count and grade, and detailed manifests are available on request for many loads. All grocery loads are sold as-is, and sales are final.
Truckload Price
This Grocery Truckload is $14,400 per full load, priced on a 24-pallet basis (trailers typically hold 22–26 pallets, though heavy beverage loads may carry fewer). Buying 24 pallets one at a time at our current grocery pallet price would cost $18,000, so the trailer saves 20% compared with buying pallet by pallet. Freight is quoted separately before dispatch, or pick up free at our Harrisburg, PA dock. Partial truckloads and repeat-load pricing for regular supply are available through our contact page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the products expired?
Loads are typically short-dated or closeout, and best-by dates vary. Ask for the manifest and check dates on arrival.
Can I buy a single pallet first?
Yes. Our grocery pallets let you test the category before ordering a truck.
Why might a beverage load have fewer pallets?
Liquids are heavy, so trailer weight limits can be reached before floor space is full. Freight is quoted separately based on the actual load.
